Should there be any inconsistency between this data protection statement and any other applicable contract or the general terms and conditions of Finfin AG, the provisions of this data protection statement will prevail.

Data protection is a matter of trust, and your trust is important to us. We respect your privacy. We also want to make sure that your personal data is protected and processed in accordance with the law.

It is important to us that you agree to the processing of your personal data. In this privacy statement, we will provide you with comprehensive information about the data processing methods we use and in which you can decide whether you wish to have your personal data be processed.

We collect personal data to offer better services to our customers. We firmly believe that if our activities are in accordance with the wishes and needs of our customers, then it will facilitate additional quality and better offerings. 

Better services may include:

  • Adapting the product assortment to customer requirements
  • Personalizing communication with customers, so that they will receive offers matching their wishes as well as receiving less advertising
  • Simplifying purchase and booking procedures, so orders can easily be placed

Storage of access data in server log-files

You may visit our website without giving any personal information. We will only save the access data of the so-called server log-file, i.e. the name of the file, the date and time of your visit, the amount of data that was transmitted, and the requesting provider. This information is exclusively used to ensure the undisturbed function of the page and to improve our offers. The data is in no way connected you your personal data. 

Data collection and use for agreement purposes and opening of a customer account

We collect personal data when you have voluntarily supplied us with it within the context of placing an order, contacting us (e.g. via the contact form or by e-mail) or when applying for a customer account. The specific data gathered is what has been provided to us via the various information forms. We use the data provided by you for contract administration purposes and to process your queries. 

You may cancel your customer account at any time via the following email address info@imagirly.com or via the contact form.

Once your customer account has been deleted, your data is blocked to prevent any further utilization. If you haven’t expressly agreed to further use, your data and will be deleted on expiry of the mandatory retention periods set out in fiscal and commercial regulations. We retain the right to further utilize your data in accordance with the law, of which we are obliged to inform you as per below. 

Data transfer for contract completion purposes

Depending on the payment service provider selected during the order process, we will pass on the data required for payment to the financial institution and possibly the payment service provider commissioned by us or the one selected by you. It may occur that the selected payment service providers collect the data directly should you open an account with them. In this case, you will have to register with your login data of the payment service provider during the order process. The data protection declaration of each respective payment service provider shall apply in such cases.

Use of data for Newsletter subscription

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you share your data through Download, contact request or any event subscription on our landing pages or any I’M A GIRLY online platform. We will use the necessary email address provided by you to regularly send you our email newsletter. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time through a message or the contact form provided through the respective link included in each newsletter.

Use of cookies

To make your visit to our website more attractive, and to enable certain functions, we employ the use of cookies on some of our pages. These are small text files that are stored on your computer. Some of these cookies are deleted upon exiting the browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies are stored on your computer and enable us to recognize you when you return to our website (persistent cookies). 

Use of Web Analytics Tools 

To constantly improve and optimize our offer, we use so-called tracking technologies. Web analysis tools provide us with statistics and graphics, which give us information on how our web offer is being utilized. This means that all information and data on how our website is being used is tracked and can be transferred to the respective server of the web analysis tools. Depending on their provider, these servers may be located abroad. For Google Analytics - the most frequently used web analysis tool, this data is transferred including shortened IP addresses, which prevents the identification of individual devices. The IP address transferred from your browser by Google Analytics won’t be brought together by Google with other collected data. Any transfer of this data to a third party by Google is made solely based on statutory regulations or within the framework of order data processing.

Use of Social Plugins 

Our website uses social plugins (e.g. Facebook and Instagram). The plugins can be identified by the logo of the provider, and may be for example a ‘Like’ or “Twitter” button.

If one of our website pages is visited, which has a plugin of this kind, your browser will set up a direct link to the provider’s servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by the provider site directly to your browser and integrated into our website. By integrating plugins, the provider receives the information that you have called up on our website. If you are simultaneously logged in to the website of a  provider, they can allocate the visit to your profile. If you interact with the plugins, by using the "Like” button", or by posting a comment, this information will be given directly to the provider by your browser and stored there.

If you do not want the provider to collect your data via our website, you must log off from the provider before going to our website. Whether you are logged in or not, providers may anonymously collect data via social plugins and set up cookies. The collected data may be assigned to your profile at a later stage when logging back in. 

If a login is provided via a social login service − e.g. Facebook Connect – data is transmitted between the provider and our website. For example, in the case of Facebook Connect, any data from your public Facebook profile could be used. By using such login services, you agree to the data transfer.

If you do not want the provider to collect your data via these cookies, you can select the
